NEW ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Thomas Hill Energy Center, MO The MidStates Energy team custom-designed and installed a new electrical system for the Thomas Hill Energy Center in Missouri, creating a state-of-the-art setup for their company. VFD SYSTEM INSTALLATION Hannibal, MO For this Missouri facility, we installed a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) System to regulate the speed of their pumps, increasing efficiency and reliability across the board. POWER & CONTROL UPGRADE Iowa Controls, IA For Iowa Controls, we were able to work with their team to plan and complete a power & controls system upgrade with a seamless experience on their end. SWITCHGEAR CHANGEOUT Lhoist, Ste. Genevieve, MO During a 24-hour outage, a MidStates Energy crew was able to quickly build a custom connection on site, replacing an existing 2500A switchgear with a new Siemens custom-made switchgear & bus connection. NEW ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Mill Creek Generating, Louisville, KY To effectively reduce the high emissions being generated by the Mill Creek Generating Station in Louisville, MidStates Energy was hired to design and install a new, eco-friendly electrical system. TRANSFORMERS CHANGEOUT Calumet Energy, Chicago, IL For this complex changeout that covered the start-up frequency converter and low voltage transformers of two units, our team was able to remove line, load, and control monitoring conductors and setup all new units with minimal downtime. NEW ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Pacificorp Hunter Plant, Castle Dale, UT To reduce the emissions being generated by the Pacificorp Hunter Plant in Utah, the MidStates Energy team was hired to plan and execute the installation of a new, specially-designed electrical system. BREAKER REBUILD New Madrid, MO MidsStates Energy partnered with ABB for a unique rebuild of 161KV HPL breakers for M&A Electric, located at the New Madrid Power Plant in Missouri. This custom breaker rebuild allowed for increased efficiency and connectivity. NEW GENERATOR AUX UPGRADE AECI New Madrid, MO When the generator auxiliary controls needed an upgrade at the New Madrid Power Plant in Missouri, MidStates Energy was called on to plan and implement the system-wide upgrade on their second unit.
